“2024 Fall Potluck/Gathering Recap:
We had a wonderful time visiting with all the residents who were able to attend the TTA Potluck in September! We received a lot of positive feedback about switching to snacks/finger foods. If did not attend as you were concerned about not having a place to sit, we provided several chairs and are ALWAYS happy to help provide more seating if we know in advance. We are considering hosting a Spring Potluck so stay tuned for a save the date in the new year! And please let the board know if you would like to help out.
Winter Reminder/Road Conditions:
With Winter approaching and the season forecasted to be snowier than normal, we wanted to send you all a quick reminder that both Bloch Terrace and Britten Court (starting at 4 Britten) are privately owned by our HOA. This means that the City of Lake Oswego will not snowplow, de-ice, or pebble/sand the roads. In addition, as discussed at the last Annual Meeting in May, the Community decided not to allocate any dues towards snow removal. With that said, for the winter season, please be prepared (with emergency supplies such as flashlights, extra food, etc) in case we are snowed in, as it could be a few days for the roads to thaw/melt.
2025 Board Positions Available:
This coming year, we have two Board positions whose terms will be ending in May 2025: Maintenance (Janet) and Landscaping (Cindy). At this time, Janet has already confirmed that she is not intending to run again. While Cindy has not confirmed either way, we would love to have more volunteers for the HOA Board! I have attached the Packet that describes the positions and their responsibilities. If you are interested in either position, please feel free to email Janet or Cindy with specific questions! Their emails are in the CC line of this email.
In addition to the two Board positions, we are looking for someone who can help assist Landscaping with one of the larger projects of the year – Tree Trimming Coordination. You would not be required to attend Board meetings as you would not be considered a member of the Board, you would just work alongside Landscaping on some of the communication and community walkthroughs with the companies we are looking at hiring. Please feel free to respond to this email if you are interested.”
