Two of our conscientious community members have worked hard to produce an Emergency Preparedness fair in the Hawthorn Room at the Mt Park HOA clubhouse, Saturday, Feb 28th from 10am to 12 noon. All Mtn Park members are welcome. Lake Oswego Fire department will be present, demonstrating the use of the correct fire extinguisher in your home, presenting emergency prep materials, teddy bear rescue for the kids and if possible a pumper truck will be on site for the kids to explore. In addition, comprehensive emergency prep info and materials will be available that covers home prep, food, safe drinking water, emergency radio, CERT per LO Fire Dept, Be2WeeksReady info from the Oregon Dept of Emergency Management.
